# TERMS OF SERVICE

## 1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Fall Line Design Studios ("we," "our," or "us"), the operator of RECAP, governing your access to and use of the RECAP mobile application and associated services (collectively, the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not access or use the App.

 

## 2. Services Overview & Non-Financial Advice

Recap is a personal organizational tool designed to help users track, manage, and monitor credit card benefits, statement credits, and annual fee value.

 

**No Financial or Credit Advice:** Recap is an informational management tool only. We do not provide financial, legal, tax, or investment advice.

 

**Accuracy of Perks:** While we strive to keep credit card benefit databases accurate and up to date, card issuers may modify their terms, credits, or policies at any time. You are solely responsible for verifying redemption rules directly with your card issuer.

 

**No Direct Account Access:** Recap does not log into your financial accounts, aggregate live bank statements, or execute redemptions on your behalf. Manual redemption logs and status tracking are maintained by the user.

 

## 3. Subscriptions, Free Trials, and Auto-Renewals

 

### A. Subscriptions & Billing

Access to premium features within Recap requires a paid auto-renewing subscription (e.g., Monthly or Annual Plan). Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.

 

### B. Free Trials

If a free trial is offered, you will receive full access to premium features for the duration specified at signup. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the free trial period, your account will automatically convert into a paid auto-renewing subscription, and your Apple ID or Google Play account will be charged the applicable subscription fee.

 

### C. Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of your selected plan.

 

### D. Managing & Canceling Subscriptions

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device’s account settings:

 

- iOS: Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad.

- Android: Open the Google Play Store > Profile Icon > Payments & Subscriptions on your device.

 

Note: Deleting the App from your device does not automatically cancel your subscription.

 

### E. Refunds

All payments and subscription purchases are processed directly by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). Refunds are subject to the respective store's refund policies. You must submit any refund requests directly to Apple or Google.

 

## 4. User Accounts & Data

To access subscription features, you must create an account using a valid email address or supported third-party single sign-on service (e.g., Sign in with Apple). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

 

You may request permanent deletion of your account and associated data at any time directly within the App via Settings > Account > Delete Account.

 

## 5. Intellectual Property & End User License Grant (EULA)

**License Grant:** Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download, install, and use a single copy of the App on an Apple-branded or Android device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.

 

**License Restrictions:** You agree not to: (a) copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code; (c) rent, lease, lend, sell, or sublicense the App; or (d) use the App in any manner that violates applicable laws.

 

**Intellectual Property Ownership:** The App, including its visual design, brand assets, benefit databases, user interface, software code, and logo ("Recap"), is owned exclusively by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.

 

**Termination of License:** This license is effective until terminated by you or us. Your rights under this license will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any of these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete all copies from your device.

 

## 6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Recap and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, or savings arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the App or reliance on information presented within the App.

 

## 7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms or via in-app notices. Continued use of the App following any changes indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.
